What Are Y-Type Check Valves?
Y-type check valves are designed to allow fluid flow in one direction while preventing reverse flow caused by back pressure. They are commonly used to protect pumps and other equipment from damage due to flow reversal.
Swing check valves, in particular, are built to minimize pressure drop across the line. Their design offers a reliable seal and fast closure when needed.

The disc is connected to the hanger in a way that allows controlled movement, helping maintain proper alignment with the seat during closure.
A welded disc nut secures the connection and prevents loosening due to vibration or impact during operation.
Stellite seat rings provide increased durability against wear, abrasion, and erosion on the sealing surfaces.
